This website, irislee.com, is operated by Irislee Fine Confections and Event Services ("Iris Lee", "we", "us" or "our"), located at 501 Heath Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. By visiting our site or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site or place an order.

Placing an Order

Our website is a catalog of what we make. Orders are placed by phone at (617) 731-9800 or by email at info@irislee.com, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM. An order is confirmed once our team has reviewed the details with you, including the items, quantities, design, delivery or pickup date and total price. We may decline or limit any order, including orders we cannot complete by the requested date.

Pricing and Payment

Prices shown on the site are in US dollars and may change without notice. The price confirmed with you when you place your order is the price you pay. Delivery, shipping, setup and custom design fees, along with applicable taxes, are quoted with your order. Payment is due when your order is confirmed unless we agree otherwise in writing. Large, corporate and event orders may require a deposit to reserve your date.

Product Information and Photos

We work hard to describe and photograph our products accurately. Every item is made and decorated by hand, and product photos are illustrative examples of each design. Colors, piping, sizes and finishes will vary naturally from item to item, seasonal designs are refreshed from year to year, and gift basket contents may be replaced with comparable items of equal or greater value based on availability.

Custom and Personalized Orders

For custom and personalized orders, our team confirms the design, wording and spelling with you before work begins, and the approved design is what we produce. When you send us a logo, image, name or text to use on a product, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe on anyone else's rights. We may decline any design or wording that we consider offensive, unlawful or outside what we can produce well.

Delivery, Pickup and Shipping

Cakes and cupcakes are baked to order for local delivery in the Boston area or pickup at our studio by appointment. Please allow 1 to 3 days for most baked orders, and more time for custom, corporate and event orders. Cupcake jars and selected items can be shipped within the United States. Delivery and ship dates are estimates, and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather or other events outside our control. Please see our Shipping Policy for more detail.

Perishable Products and Storage

Our products are perishable. Please follow any storage guidance we provide and enjoy baked goods promptly. Once an order has been delivered or picked up, it is the responsibility of the recipient to store and handle it properly.

Allergies

Our kitchen works with wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts and tree nuts, and our products are made on shared equipment. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary need when you order. We cannot guarantee that any product is free of allergens, and you are responsible for sharing allergen information with the people who will enjoy your order.

Cancellations and Refunds

Changes, cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms of Service.

Use of Our Website

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site to interfere with its operation, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to collect information about other users. We may update, change or remove any part of the site at any time.
