Questions About Birthday

What birthday treats does Iris Lee make?

Birthday cakes, cupcake bouquets, cupcake cakes, decorated cookies and personalized wrapped candy bars. Everything is made by hand in our Chestnut Hill kitchen.

How many people does a birthday cake serve?

Most of our 8 inch round cakes serve 14 to 20 as a dessert style slice, and a 10 inch round serves 24 to 28. Larger sizes and tiered designs can be arranged on the call, and each listing shows its own serving guide.

Can you put a name or party colors on a birthday cake?

Yes. Share the name, age, colors or theme when you order and our team will call to confirm the design before we start on your cake.

How far ahead should I order a birthday cake?

Every cake is baked to order in our Chestnut Hill kitchen, so please allow 1 to 3 days. For a busy weekend or a holiday, calling a week ahead gives you the best choice of dates.

Do you deliver birthday cakes?

Our cakes are made for local Boston area delivery, and pickup at our Chestnut Hill studio is available by appointment. Call (617) 731-9800 and we will confirm your address and delivery date.
