Iris Lee, known to longtime customers as Irislee Fine Confections and Event Services, has spent more than thirty years helping families, schools and businesses around Boston celebrate the moments that matter. Birthdays, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduations, new babies, holidays and thank yous all come through our door, and each one gets the same personal attention.

Our Chestnut Hill Studio

Everything we make comes out of our studio at 501 Heath Street in Chestnut Hill, MA. Cakes are baked and frosted by hand, cupcakes are piped one swirl at a time, cookies are iced in royal icing, and candy wrappers and favor labels are printed and applied by our own team. Visits are by appointment, so call ahead and we will set aside time to plan with you.

What We Make

Our kitchen bakes custom cakes, cupcake bouquets, regular and mini cupcakes, cupcake cakes and cupcake jars. We hand decorate sugar cookies by the dozen and dip Oreos in milk, dark or white chocolate. On the candy side we make personalized wrapped Hershey's bars, favor bags of Kisses and miniatures, corporate logo candy and color matched candy buffets. We also design invitations, stationery, party favors and custom gifts for every kind of event.

How Ordering Works

Every order starts with a conversation. Find what you love on the site, then call or email us. We talk through size, flavor, colors, quantity and your date, and we confirm every detail before anything goes into the oven or onto the press.

Customization comes in three forms. Our seasonal designs are ready to send as shown. Many items can carry your own words, like a name on a cake topper or a message on a candy wrapper. And when you want something entirely your own, our team designs it with you and confirms the design on a call before work begins.

Cakes and cupcakes are baked to order, so please allow 1 to 3 days. They are made for local Boston area delivery or pickup at the studio. Cupcake jars are packed to travel and ship nationwide.

Who We Work With

Families planning birthdays and milestones, couples planning weddings, parents planning mitzvahs, schools saying thank you to teachers, offices sending client gifts with their logo, and event planners who need a dessert table or candy buffet that matches the room. Whether it is one cake or five hundred favors, you will work with the same small team from the first call to delivery.
