Wedding Favors and Color Matched Candy Buffets
Share
Iris Lee has been part of Massachusetts weddings for thirty years, and the details couples remember most are often the small ones: the favor at each place setting, the candy table everyone gathers around after dinner, the welcome bag waiting at the hotel. Here is how we help couples plan the sweet side of the day.
Start With Your Palette
Your wedding colors are the thread that ties every sweet detail together. Bring us your palette, a fabric swatch or a photo of your florals, and we will match ribbons, foils, wrappers and candy to it. When the favors, the buffet and the cake all speak the same color language, the room looks finished.
Favors for Every Place Setting
Our Wedding collection gathers the favors couples ask for most.
- Organza favor bags filled with Hershey's Kisses or foil wrapped chocolates, tied in your ribbon color. Soft, elegant and easy to set at each seat.
- Pillow box candy favors holding Hershey's Kisses, a tidy little box that sits neatly on a folded napkin.
- Chocolate dipped Oreos in a 2 pack gift box, dipped in milk, dark or white chocolate and finished with drizzle, sprinkles or a sugar flower. An organza bag makes them our most formal presentation. You can even add your monogram or wedding logo.
- Decorated sugar cookies iced with your initials, the date or a motif from your invitation, sold by the dozen. See our decorated cookies.
- Custom label Kisses and miniatures in bags of 50, 100 or 250 for welcome bags and larger guest lists. See Kisses and Miniatures.
The Color Matched Candy Buffet
A candy buffet gives guests something to do between dances and something to take home at the end of the night. Our candy buffets are portioned by guest count in sizes for about 25, 50 or 100 guests, so larger weddings simply combine sizes.
- Single color: choose from eleven colors, including white, gold, silver, pink, blue and more. An all white buffet is a classic wedding choice.
- Two tone: pick a lead color and an accent color to match your palette exactly.
- What goes in it: favorites like M&M's, Hershey's Kisses in colored foil, gumballs and Dum Dums, portioned in your shades.
- Display and setup: glass jars and trays for a full tabletop display, plus local setup in the Greater Boston area, can be added when you order.
Make the buffet a favor station
Set out favor containers like pillow boxes, mini jars or organza pouches beside the buffet, with a small sign inviting guests to fill one on their way out. It doubles as your favor and saves a step on the day.
The Cake
If you are dreaming of a custom wedding cake, our studio welcomes couples by appointment to design one entirely your own, from hand piped flowers to a simple, elegant finish. Browse our Floral Cakes and Frosted Cakes for inspiration. Cakes are baked to order for local Boston area delivery.
Don't Forget the Days Around the Wedding
- Bridal showers: floral cupcakes and a cupcake bouquet as the centerpiece.
- Bachelorette weekends: personalized wrapped candy bars for every guest.
- Hotel welcome bags: wrapped candy bars, logo candy and cupcake jars, which travel well.
- Thank you gifts: a dozen decorated cookies for the people who helped make the day happen.
A Wedding Sweets Timeline
- Three to four months out: share your palette and guest count, and book a design appointment if you want a custom cake.
- Six to eight weeks out: confirm favor styles, wrapper wording, monogram artwork and buffet size.
- Two weeks out: confirm final counts and delivery or setup details for the venue.
- Wedding week: cakes and cupcakes are baked fresh for your date.
